ICOPLAST is a non-profit organization formed at the meeting of 44 National Plastic Surgery Societies in March 2016 in Uruguay. Since that time, ICOPLAST membership has grown to almost 60 National Plastic Surgery Societies, representing more than 20,000 Plastic Surgeons from all over the world.
ICOPLAST celebrated our 10th anniversary at a Symposium, graciously hosted by ESPRS during the 56th Annual Conference of the Egyptian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons 3 – 6 February 2026.
During the last ten years, ICOPLAST has implemented many initiatives in support of our mission to educate, communicate and advance the Plastic Surgery specialty throughout the world, including convening three ICOPLAST Congresses in Peru, Dubai and South Africa, holding many symposiums in collaboration with our National Societies, and implementing and operating a monthly webinar program.
The stellar work of the past and present members of ICOPLAST Board of Directors and the ICOPLAST Committee Chairs has greatly contributed to the continued growth and success of ICOPLAST.
