ICOPLAST has recently signed a publication agreement with the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (JPRAS) to publish an ICOPLAST/JPRAS Special Edition Journal of up to 15 Manuscripts in September/October 2026.
JPRAS is the official Journal of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). Published by Elsevier, it publishes original research, educational material, and articles on all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
The ICOPLAST/JPRAS Special Edition will appear online in Autumn 2026 and will be freely available for 6 months and then permanently available online behind a paywall thereafter.
While priority will be given to Manuscripts of the best papers presented at the ICOPLAST Congress in Cape Town in September 2025, we will also gratefully accept Manuscripts from members of ICOPLAST National Plastic Surgery Societies in good standing for consideration.
All Manuscripts will be Peer reviewed by the ICOPLAST Publications Committee prior to submission to JPRAS for their consideration.
